Job description

The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a highly motivated Manager Trainee to join our team in Roseville, CA. In this role, you will rotate through both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, gaining hands-on experience in managing high-volume food service operations, leading teams, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
 

What you'll be doing:
  • Oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures for kitchen, server, and retail stations. 
  • Maintain food safety standards and brand integrity by conducting line checks and completing HACCP documentation.  
  • Lead shift huddles and provides real-time feedback to promote a positive team environment and drive productivity.  
  • Monitor sales, labor, and food costs; assist with developing weekly inventory and ordering plans.  
  • Support on-campus marketing events and foster community partnerships.
What we're looking for:

Must haves: 

  • At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar guest-service role.  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and deliver excellent service.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.  
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a shift leader or trainer, with leadership and team development skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and labor-scheduling systems.
  • Ability to analyze operational data to improve efficiency and guest experience.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation Range

$30.00 per hour
