Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Nights
Location: Columbus, OH
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Contract Duration: July 5, 2026 - October 3, 2026
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join a hospital-based respiratory care team in Columbus, Ohio. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders while providing high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory care equipment.
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis.
Evaluate patient responses to treatment and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Current Ohio Respiratory Care License required.
Current NBRC Credential (RRT or CRT) required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients preferred.
