    Job description

    Responsibilities

    • Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

    • Prepare project budgets and coordinate subcontractor bidding activities.

    • Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor bids.

    • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope gaps.

    • Prepare scopes of work for subcontractors.

    • Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

    • Develop and maintain project schedules.

    • Conduct subcontractor buyout and issue subcontracts.

    • Manage project budgets and monitor project costs.

    • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

    • Lead project meetings and maintain project documentation.

    • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

    • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.

    • Track project progress and resolve construction issues.

    • Oversee quality assurance and ensure compliance with project specifications.

    • Manage punch list activities and project closeout documentation.

    • Supervise multiple construction projects simultaneously.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 7 years of commercial construction management experience.

    • Experience managing multi-story commercial new construction projects.

    • Experience with estimating and project management.

    • Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.

    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

    • Strong subcontractor management and coordination experience.

    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other construction management software.

    • Strong budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project coordination skills.

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
