Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO/CP)

Location: Alexandria, LA

Job Type: Full-Time

Setting: Mobile/Home-Based

Position Summary

We are seeking a CPO, CP, or Board-Eligible Orthotist/Prosthetist to provide comprehensive O&P services in a combination of clinic and mobile settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling to patients' homes, nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other community locations.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • No on-call or weekend requirements

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Perform measurements, casting, fitting, alignment, and adjustments

  • Select, customize, and deliver orthotic/prosthetic devices

  • Provide follow-up care and patient education

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, technicians, and other staff

  • Conduct mobile/home-based patient visits

  • Monitor patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Required:

  • CPO, CP, or Board Eligible through ABC, BOC, or equivalent

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics or qualifying field

  • Louisiana license or eligibility for licensure

  • Strong clinical assessment, fitting, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and patient-education skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload

  • Willingness to travel to patients' homes and community locations
