Position Overview:
A private ophthalmology practice in Old Bridge, New Jersey is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Ophthalmologist to join its high-volume, surgery-focused practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgically oriented ophthalmologist interested in cataract and refractive procedures, advanced technology, and continued surgical development.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations and treatment.
Perform cataract and refractive surgical procedures.
Evaluate patients for premium IOL and advanced refractive procedures.
Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
Perform high-quality cataract surgeries in a high-volume setting.
Utilize advanced surgical technology and ophthalmic equipment.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate care with clinical support staff.
Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining high surgical standards.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree.
Completion of an Ophthalmology residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong cataract surgical skills.
Demonstrated interest in cataract and refractive surgery.
Refractive or cataract fellowship training is preferred but not required.
New graduates may be considered if they demonstrate excellent surgical ability.
Comfortable working in a high-volume surgical practice.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
