Tool Room Supervisor - Holland Area

Tool Room Supervisor | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $67,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Tool Room Supervisors. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage the repair, maintenance, and fabrication of production tooling and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all tools and machinery.
  • Supervise and train tool room personnel, fostering a skilled and productive team.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards within the tool room.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering departments to optimize tooling solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing tool room, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proficient in the operation and programming of CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and metrology.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
  • Experience with inventory management and procurement of tooling and consumables.
