Job description

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives that enhance coating quality and process consistency.
  • Ensure coating operations meet approved procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Support production by providing quality oversight, training, and technical guidance.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and reporting to support operational excellence.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing within a coating or industrial environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, and quality auditing principles preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate with corporate quality teams on internal and external audits, quality improvement initiatives, and certification/qualification of coating personnel.
  • Ensure QMS processes are established, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
  • Promote compliance with customer specifications and quality requirements through participation in production and operational meetings.
  • Monitor coating operations to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved coating procedures, specifications, and company standards.
  • Initiate and support quality improvement projects and monitor key quality performance indicators.
  • Communicate QMS performance, risks, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities to management through reports and management reviews.
  • Maintain and control quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, inspection records, calibration records, and quality reports.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support employee training on quality standards, coating procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform (DSC) testing and document test results.
  • Ensure effective document control and record retention practices are maintained throughout the facility.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be willing to work weekends, overtime, and flexible schedules as required to meet business needs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
