Description
Metropolitan Management Group is looking for an Operations Support Manager to join our team! The Operations Support Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and coordinating the administrative, sales support, and operational support functions within the Operations Department. This role directly supervises the Operations team ensuring alignment with company goals, efficient workflow, and high‑quality output across all support functions. The Operations Support Manager works closely with the VP of Operations, Owner, Regional Managers, Property Managers, and corporate teams to streamline processes, enhance communication, and support company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Operations Administrative Assistant, Operations Sales Support, and Operations Support Specialist.
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor tasks across the support team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure executive support functions (calendar management, communications, reporting, filing, errands, event coordination) are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and approve marketing materials, newsletters, email blasts, social media content, and website updates created by Sales Support.
  • Ensure leasing workflows, renewals, application processing, and property audits are completed timely and accurately.
  • Create, update, and enforce SOPs for administrative, leasing, reporting, and marketing processes.
  • Prepare reports, gather data, and assist with special projects for the EVP of Operations and Owner.
  • Review and validate reports produced by the support team, including leasing analytics, market surveys, renewal reports, and marketing metrics.
  • Review team output for accuracy, professionalism, and brand consistency.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Operations, Leasing, Marketing, and Property Management teams.
  • Train new support staff and ensure ongoing skill development for the team.
  • Oversee company events, preventative maintenance programs, and corporate initiatives requiring support team involvement.
  • Assist with escalated resident concerns, attorney general complaints, and sensitive communications.
  • Support the Operations Department as business needs evolve.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Competencies:
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and guide a diverse support team.
  • Creative thinking and eye for detail
  • Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Yardi, WordPress, and Canva preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Capable of resolving issues independently and supporting team problem‑solving.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, property management, administrative leadership, or related field
  • High proficiency in WORD, EXCEL and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Yardi a plus, but not required
