    Job description

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.
Lyft connects people to transportation to change the way we live and get around our communities. Product management at Lyft leads the integration of engineering, data science, and design to achieve the company's vision for reinventing transportation. We are looking for entrepreneurial and passionate Product Managers to innovate and execute across a rapidly growing, fast-paced company and industry.
Autonomous vehicles are one of Lyft's most strategic and exciting product areas. As a Senior PM on the AV Platform team, you'll work directly with AV technology partners to build and scale Lyft's AV platform - ensuring seamless, high-quality rides that delight riders and represent Lyft's brand values. This role sits at the intersection of product, partnerships, and platform, requiring someone equally comfortable diving into technical integration details and navigating complex partner relationships.
    Responsibilities:
    • Own the product strategy to launch, scale, and deepen select AV partnerships in new cities, aligning your team's goals, success metrics, and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and autonomous vehicle strategy
    • Serve as the primary product counterpart for AV technology partners, deeply understanding their capabilities and finding solutions that balance the needs of riders, partners, and Lyft
    • Drive a customer obsessed and learning culture by continuously shipping and iterating on products via user research, market research, data analysis, & experimentation
    • Be a valued collaborator for business development, strategic and other product partners - finding common ground that meets the needs of all parties
    • Lead a cross-functional pod of engineers, designers, data scientists, legal, policy, and business stakeholders - setting context, maintaining momentum, and building tools and processes to keep the team aligned
    • Collaborate across the company and communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions clearly to audiences ranging from partner teams to executive levels
    • Leverage AI tools and emerging technology to accelerate your team's workflows and enhance the products you build
    Experience:
    • 5+ years of product management experience, with significant time spent on consumer-facing or platform products
    • Track record of building and shipping 0-to-1 products with measurable user and business impact in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
    • Experience navigating complex cross-functional environments where you influence without direct authority
    • Strong business judgment, with the ability to balance end-consumer and partner needs
    • Data fluency - you define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products, and you're comfortable running and interpreting quantitative analysis and experiments
    • Strong communication skills across audiences and levels, and experience working with external technical partners and senior leadership
    • Customer obsessed - strong user empathy and experience in the customer discovery and product development process
    • Familiarity with the operational complexity of physical-world services - where software launches intersect with on-the-ground readiness
    • Ideally have experience with platform products, technical integrations, or partnership-heavy environments
    • Bonus: familiarity with autonomous vehicles, developer platforms, mobility, or marketplace dynamics
    Benefits:
    • Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled
    • Mental health benefits
    • Family building benefits
    • Child care and pet benefits
    • 401(k) plan with company match to help save for your future
    • In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off
    • 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
    • Subsidized commuter benefits
    • Monthly Lyft credits and complimentary Lyft Pink membership
