    To strengthen our efforts, we are hiring a Data Analyst to help us make data driven decisions. As a Data Analyst in the autonomous space, this role will uniquely be exposed to both AV Depot Operations and the AV Rideshare network. As we build the future of mobility from the ground up, we are looking for a strong thought leader and executor who is passionate about driving data driven decisions and energized by solving complex problems. You will partner with a wide range of stakeholders - Operations, Business, Finance, Product, Data Science, Engineering and many others. This role will report into the Senior Analytics Manager within Lyft's Global Growth Org with opportunities for senior leadership visibility.

    The ideal candidate -  You have strong technical skills, are team-driven and have a growth mindset. You can roll-up your sleeves to undertake large cross functional projects. You are comfortable navigating the ambiguity of innovative projects and operate effectively in fast-paced environments.     Responsibilities:
    • Leverage technical skills to build reports, dashboards and tools for stakeholders
    • Develop insights through analysis to build informed narratives, deliver strategic recommendations and provide actionable guidance that optimizes business performance
    • Work with external partners to communicate data needs that enable success in tracking toward critical service levels and manage incoming data requests
    • Work with business and leadership to define critical KPIs and metrics to support cross-functional teams, manage performance, create operational rigor and proactively seek ways to improve the business
    • Ability to engage with FP&A partners on P&L Management and financial modeling
    • Bridge Operations with Tech - become an expert in the vehicle lifecycle, from the day-to-day Fleet Operations that keep AV fleets running smoothly to the tech that transports riders from point A to B 
    • Take full ownership in solving complex problems with data and rally stakeholders to implement solutions
    • Define processes and streamline the operational cadence for business performance tracking
    • Comfortable leading meetings, packaging work and presenting in large forums
    Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • 3-5 years of experience with a mix of business analytics in a high growth or complex business, investment banking with strong analytical exposure and/or role at a top-tier consulting firm
    • Deep understanding of complex data models, BI methodologies, data architecture principles and metadata
    • Proficient in SQL and working with raw data sets. (Python or other programming languages is a huge plus.)
    • Proven success in driving influence within the business
    • Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization and proactively thrive in ambiguous environments
    • Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to work cross functionally & effectively with individual contributors, management, and leadership across the organization
    • Operationally-focused, process-oriented, data-driven, and simply able to get stuff done
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to package findings & technical concepts for leadership consumption
    • Previous experience in P&L involvement and/or Mobility or Auto-Tech industry is a huge plus

    The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $96,000 - CAD $120,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
