Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS Angular API Spring Boot Java in Westlake, TX.
Overview:
The Engineer will work closely with technical lead, business analysts, and DevOps, helping to craft and develop new products and platforms. The candidate will also help to inform the staff of the strategy for building out our UI real estate, including re-usable components and RESTful services. They will help develop and document standards and guidelines, upgrade/maintenance strategies, and help to mentor more junior team members.
Candidates will be working with multiple squad members, Technology leadership, Product, and other stakeholders to pave way for future initiatives and to resolve any immediate roadblocks for the deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* Adequate experience in interacting with squads and stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to take on leadership for technical issues and has helped resolve roadblocks for the squads
* Shares extreme passion to oversee the broader vision for the product and organization
* Experience with SCRUM or other agile development processes
* Has experience with DevOps, Angular, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, and Concourse
* Experience with front-end development tools such as CMS, SEO, Adobe A/B testing, Analytics, Launch Darkly feature flagging is a plus
* Strong and clear communication skill, with ability to interact with audience at different levels of Technology backgrounds; Ability to clearly articulate the problem statement when requested
* Deep technical skills and ability to work across peer groups to resolve technical/design issues
* Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, distributed, and resilient cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
* Ability to build and optimize event-driven architectures utilizing technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging services for high-throughput communication
* Experience with broader architectural design for application design and development/utilizing DevOps tools and processes for automation
* Experience in building REST APIs using Java Spring Boot
* Experience in data design and modeling and proficient in SQL queries, Table design and Data Structures
Experience or exposure to several concepts and technologies is desired:
* 6+ years Application development using Java EE, Spring or Spring Boot
* Experience with A/B testing tools and methodology such as Adobe Target
* Use of Content Management System
* Knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and their use in building complex interactive experiences
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
