Job Summary: The Senior Account Executive will develop new accounts across an assigned territory in efforts to support company growth. Reporting directly to the RVP, Sales, this role will be empowered to represent IT Solutions to prospects and deliver solutions to solve their most complex business needs.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Seek out and prospect NEW CLIENT accounts and generate sales opportunities
  • Maintain a key role in developing opportunities to drive company growth through prospecting, networking, using social media, and referrals.
  • Prospect for new clients leveraging HubSpot and other lead-generating tools.
  • Conduct lead-generating activities daily such cold calling, emailing, and networking
  • Assist in building and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline to drive continuous immediate and long-term opportunities, by reporting sales activities weekly.
  • Adopt professional sales techniques in the aim of targeting accurately and offering the appropriate services to potential clients
  • Assist with and attend company events as they relate to sales and new business acquisition
  • Understand a prospects business need and develop tailored proposal proposals and presentation, leveraging the pre-sales architecture team as needed.
  • Reach the established targets of new account development
  • Engage in other sales activities as assigned
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, executive stakeholders, key decision makers, and Centers of Influence to drive business growth.
  • Fulfill tasks during the new client onboarding process to include ongoing internal trainings
  • Lead the pursuit and closure of large, strategic, and complex sales opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on IT Solutions' service offerings, market positioning, and MSP industry trends.
  • Develop and execute territory growth and account penetration strategies while managing complex sales cycles and achieving assigned revenue targets.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Account Executives on prospecting best practices, sales strategy, and deal progression.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify process improvements and contribute to sales enablement initiatives.
  • Lead proposal strategy, contract negotiations, and complex pricing discussions.
  • Facilitate internal deal strategy meetings and coordinate resources across technical, professional services, and leadership teams.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to leadership.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new sales team members.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying business challenges and aligning technology solutions to strategic objectives.

  • Exceptionally skilled at sales techniques and demonstrates a strong understanding of technology products and services in the MSP space
  • Ability to complete complex sales with minimal supervision

Experience
Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent level of experience in related field
  • Candidates must reside in the greater Boston, MA in order to develop a local sales territory
  • At least six years of B2B sales experience
  • At least five years of sales experience within field & technology sales
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to be self-motivated and take a "hunting" style approach
  • Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
