Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Certified Diverse Supplier offering innovative solutions for Digital Transformations across various domains and industries. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to work on a mission-critical project focused on credit card transaction processing, requiring real-time, secure, and highly available systems.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and support applications involved in real-time credit card transactions, including swipes at POS and online purchases.
• Work on a high-performance platform that manages large-scale transaction volumes.
• Contribute to coding, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in a 24/7 transactional environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system reliability.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Subject Matter Expertise in TACL, HPE NonStop (Tandem systems), and Prognosis.
• Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Prior experience working in high-volume, high-availability financial transaction systems is highly desirable.
Preferred:
• Strong hands-on experience with Python as a secondary programming skill.
• Working knowledge of Java and Ansible for scripting and automation tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
