    Job description

    HP Remarketing Sales Specialist

    Description -

    HP is seeking a Remarketing Sales Specialist to drive sales execution for returned and excess products while helping maximize recovery value and strengthen channel partner revenue opportunities. This role analyzes market demand, pricing, partner performance, and product availability to support informed sales decisions and consistent execution across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate brings experience selling B-stock and excess inventory, building partner relationships, and supporting revenue growth in IT asset disposition, recovery, recycling, or reverse logistics markets.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you will support sales-focused remarketing execution by working with channel partners, sales, category, reverse logistics, operations, engineering, and customer support teams. You will manage a broad range of moderately complex processes, you will gain working knowledge of remarketing sales, recovery economics, reverse logistics, channel partner sales execution and HP support.

    Sales Execution

    Execute remarketing sales activities that improve resale price, recovery value, revenue contribution, and inventory velocity.

    Develop partner opportunities through cross-category selling, account follow-up, and targeted offers that increase total account value and partner sell-through.

    Coordinate with category, business planners and operations teams to align pricing, availability, demand signals, and partner communications.

    Market & Business Insight

    Monitor partner activity, buyer demand, competitive pricing, sales trends, and inventory position to identify revenue and recovery opportunities.

    Provide structured feedback to internal teams to improve pricing strategy, sales process alignment, and product roadmap input.

    Customer Experience & Operational Excellence

    Support partner issue resolution to maintain account momentum, protect sales opportunities, and ensure timely follow-through.

    Help deliver partner and customer experiences that reinforce HP's brand promise, compliance expectations, repeat business, and long-term loyalty.

    Connect the partner experience to HP internal stakeholders to improve response time, sales alignment, and quality outcomes.

    Education and Experience

    Four-year or graduate degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

    Typically has 4-7 years of relevant sales, account management, channel partner, or business development experience, preferably in electronic hardware deployment or redeployment, B-stock, excess and obsolete inventory, IT asset disposition, recovery, recycling, or reverse logistics.

    Knowledge and Skills

    Strong sales communication, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

    Strong internal and external relationship management skills, including partner engagement, account follow-up, and conflict resolution.

    Ability to interpret sales pipeline, pricing, inventory, demand, and partner performance data using business analytics and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The pay range for this role is$77,000.00 - $90,000.00 USDannually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
