Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in technical sales enablement or technical sales.
  • Experience identifying training needs, developing and executing global sales enablement programs, and developing learning and enablement content for a technical audience.
  • Experience with technical sales, enterprise sales, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Experience with AI products, tools and related cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with learning platforms and Learning and Development content development.
  • Enablement or learning experience for technical audience.
  • Working technical knowledge of a cloud technology platform.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker that can take broad goals and concepts and develop structured plans, actions and measurable metrics and then execute those plans.

About the job
As part of the broader Google Cloud Practice GTM team and reporting to the AI Enablement Manager, the AI Technical Enablement Lead will be focused on strategizing, designing and executing technical enablement programs focused on AI products and solutions for Go-to-Market (GTM) technical roles (Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), Customer Engineer (CE), Google Cloud Consulting (GCC), etc). In this role, you will be passionate with cloud and AI technologies, deeply understand how to best enable technical personas, and most importantly have a deep technical background with direct experience with Google Cloud's AI products.
As part of a team that supports Google Cloud, your mission to have the highest performing sales team in the industry that will be in engaged in designing, building and executing global enablement programs that enables Cloud Technical GTM field Googlers to perform keyboard work for customers in non-production environments in Google Cloud AI products following all HOK guardrail, navigate the Cloud opportunity win cycle to execute the AI GTM strategy effectively, while understanding and feeling confident using, demoing and showcasing AI products to customers aligned to their business needs and relevant use cases. You will have in-depth, technical conversations with customers to differentiate our AI stack.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep technical enablement program based off of Forward Deployed Engineer and Cloud AI CE requirements for learning of AI products.
  • Map persona-based views of technical GTM field enablement needs, leading the development of curriculum for in-person, e-learning and other assets for AI product and deep knowledge.
  • Design, build and execute structured AI product deep technical training and enablement programs, and build-out of materials for P0, P1 and other priority AI initiatives.
  • Integrate into technical sales and GCC teams to understand enablement needs and become a trusted advisor to core technical roles.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor embedded within technical sales, GCC, and Engineering teams to build cross-functional alignment and drive technical understanding of AI products.
