Project types include site planning, bike/pedestrian trails, park and recreation planning and design, site landscape amp; irrigation, and streetscape projects. Typical clients include federal, state, and local agencies across the entire Garver footprint. Our current array of work includes urban design for a mixed-use development in Alabama, airport enhancements in Nashville, streetscapes in Texas, and parks in Wichita. Every day is different, so the opportunity to experience a variety of project types and separate phases of work during the internship is immense.

- Must be pursuing a degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program
- Detail- oriented and a team player with strong self-initiative to meet deadlines
- Strong graphic (hand-drawn and digital), written, and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience working with design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and LandFX, as well as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with Lumion and/ or other rendering software
- Previous site development experience, including park and recreation or streetscape projects

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting.
