What You’ll Do:
As a Gate Inspector, you’ll help keep the rail terminal running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:
- Inspecting automobiles arriving and departing the facility.
- Verifying load sheets and unit numbers.
- Documenting any damage with accuracy and professionalism.
- Checking truck drivers in and out of the terminal.
- Maintaining a visitor log.
- Keeping your inspection area clean and safe.
- Wearing all required PPE (vest, safety boots, hard hat when needed).
- Notifying supervisors of any incidents.
- Staying alert and aware around moving vehicles and railyard operations.
If you like working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a mission‑driven team, this job is for you.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a 7‑year background check and drug test.
- No diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
