    If you are a Material Coordinator professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our SIDNEY, OHIO location, you will perform daily tasks centered in and around laboratories to help complete engineering project assignments. Your focus will be on handling and staging materials, updating inventory records, verifying inventory levels, placing orders, and other related tasks that will help improve and develop solutions with compressor technologies for HVACR customers. You will effectively communicate with peers and engineering partners in order to take proper actions for success. You will support various product groups and will assist with supporting shipping and receiving related tasks. You will also be involved in Safety+5S, & other improvement practices.
    AS A MATERIAL COORDINATOR, YOU WILL:
    • Adhere to all corporate and laboratory safety standards and policies, including all EPA regulations
    • Move compressors, parts, and hardware to and from areas or to permanent storage areas.
    • Maintain and upkeep storage equipment, areas, and workspaces.
    • Assist in processing of lab refrigerants.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records.
    • Stage materials as needed to ensure availability for use.
    • Operate material handling equipment such as fork lifts, and other material handling equipment.
    • Creating or modifying spreadsheets, analyzing lab inventory records, requesting part orders, and maintaining stock levels.
    • Meet the physical demands of the position which include manipulation of average to heavy weights, standing for extended periods of time, use of associated equipment needed for common assembly work, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
    • Communicate with team members and others regarding parts, hardware, compressors, or other items.
    • Collaborate and work in both a team environment and individually.
    • Other duties and tasks relative to supporting engineering labs and work flow.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
    • High School Diploma
    • Ability to make deliveries while driving company vehicles
    • Experience operating Fork Lifts or other relevant material handling equipment
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
    • Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
    • Adhere to all corporate and laboratory safety standards and policies
    • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
