    Overview
    The Group Sales Manager is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues.
    Responsibilities
    Revenue Generation: Proactively solicit, negotiate, and close group and corporate accounts to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
    Strategic Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities through targeted outbound sales initiatives, local networking, and industry events.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Event Sales, Event Planning, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and ensure seamless execution of group contracts.
    Pipeline & Data Management: Maintain accurate records, reporting, and pipeline management using Hyatt systems to optimize sales tracking and forecasting.
    Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for meeting planners and corporate clients, conducting immersive, professional site inspections that highlight the unique features of the property.
    Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, evaluate competitor strategies, and analyze production data within assigned segments to optimize Average Daily Rate (ADR) and occupancy.
    Qualifications
    Experience: 2+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, ideally within a lifestyle brand or full-service corporate/group environment.
    Service Mindset: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of client satisfaction.
    Technical Savvy: Solid computer proficiency and comfort working within CRM and hotel systems (such as Envision, Delphi, or Opera) to manage accounts and log daily activity.
    Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to confidently pitch to executive-level clients and stakeholders.
    Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, a highly organized approach to multi-tasking under deadlines, and a self-motivated mindset. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. Perform other duties as requested by management.
