Cocktail Server - Harrah's Laughlin
Why It's More Than a Job
As a Cocktail Server, you bring energy, hospitality, and exceptional service to every guest interaction. You ensure beverages are served accurately, efficiently, and with a warm smile - helping create the memorable experiences that define Caesars Entertainment's Family Style Service.
Responsibilities
• Take beverage orders and relay them accurately to the Bartender
• Collect completed drink orders, add appropriate garnishes, and prepare trays for service
• Serve beverages to guests in assigned areas with speed and professionalism
• Compute bills and process payments for drink orders when required
• Request identification from guests to ensure all patrons served are 21+
• Remove empty or dirty glasses, bottles, and ashtrays; return items to the bar or kitchen
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, service stations, and assigned sections
• Restock napkins, straws, glassware, and other service items as needed
• Assist with maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests
• Communicate guest needs or concerns to Bartenders or Supervisors
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Exhibit Caesars Entertainment's Family Style Service model at all times
• Must be available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training in a similar food outlet, hotel, or casino environment preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• Must possess and maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other certifications required by local regulations
Language Skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to operate using U.S. currency
Computer Skills
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems in applicable venues
