Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYHousekeeping provides friendly, courteous Family-Style Service to guests while cleaning guest rooms in their assigned area. They display a strong commitment to customer service through the delivery of our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures. Housekeeping ensures cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms to uphold hotel standards. Duties include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing supplies, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms. Attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing excellent guest experience are key aspects of this role.
ResponsibilitiesHOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY- Cleans all assigned rooms to company standard within designated work period
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift
- Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
- Follows lost and found policies and procedures
- Plans, organizes and completes work timely
- Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needs
- Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors
- Responsible for the efficient and effective cleaning of all areas with higher standards of knowledge.
- Responsible for cleaning all restrooms, floors, windows, walls, stairs, escalators, and elevators
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restrooms and closets. Mopping and vacuuming floors around the casino, all restrooms and entrances.
- Routine manual labor includes but not limited to washing, mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, food service equipment and simple operation of basic equipment.
- Responsible for removing all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cans.
- Trash and debris to be deposited in the outside dumpsters.
- Attend to guest as needed for any housekeeping needs.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
- All other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Proficient with iOS devices
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Prior professional cleaning experience preferred
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
