    Job description


    Are you an organized, energetic professional who loves creating memorable experiences? As a Marketing Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing promotions, events, and player experiences to life across the casino. You'll partner with multiple departments, interact directly with guests, and help ensure every event runs smoothly from planning to execution.     Responsibilities
    • Support the planning and execution of casino promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, ordering supplies, and training team members.
    • Ensure promotions and events are properly staffed and prepared, including assisting with contingency plans when unexpected issues arise.
    • Set up and remove event signage, displays, and promotional materials.
    • Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate tracking of marketing assets and supplies.
    • Process winner documentation, including collecting release forms and entering information into tracking systems.
    • Serve as a visible and approachable presence on the casino floor, assisting guests and answering questions during events and promotions.
    • Collaborate with departments including Casino Operations, Hosts, Cage, Table Games, Food & Beverage, IT, Facilities, and Guest Services to achieve business goals.
    • Resolve guest concerns and operational challenges quickly and professionally.
    • Maintain accurate records of projects, inventories, expenses, event results, and other marketing documentation.
    • Complete reports and administrative tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
    • Contribute to a positive guest experience by delivering exceptional customer service and upholding company service standards.

    Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
    • Ability to obtain and retain a Louisiana Gaming License
    • Previous experience in marketing, events, hospitality, gaming, customer service, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with guests, team members, and multiple departments.
    • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
    • Ability to move throughout all areas of the casino and event spaces.
    • Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods as needed.
    • Ability to operate standard office equipment and technology.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues in a dynamic casino environment.
