Service Technician - Stanley Access Technologies, Columbus, OH

What You Will Do:

• Perform service and repair work asdesignatedinprofitableand proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.

• Perform preventive maintenance workin accordance withserviceprogramdesignatedfor specificcustomer.

• Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each jobin accordance withestablishedprocedure.

• Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.

• Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes areadvised.

• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and otherpropertyinpropermanner.

• Maintain adequate parts inventory for servicevehicle; keep inventory log.

• Maintain good customer relations and customer service

• Assistand instructothers ininstall / service methods.

What You NeedToSucceed:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent isrequired.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.

• Frequently going up and down ladders.

• Standing on Concrete several hours a day

• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel or crawl,twistingspine.

• Ability to work in various climates.

• Ability to work overhead.

• Ability to lift and/or carry weight up to 50-75lbs.

• Flexiblework schedule isa must: ability to work nights and/or weekends, or OnCallas necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Prior experience servicing automated doors

• Prior experience in the Construction Field installing door frames and windows or as a Glazier installing glass window and glass doors

• Prior experience in the Electrical, Automotive, or Carpentry fields
