Job Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for performing basic shipping and receiving tasks in a manufacturing facility.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Prepares and packages products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operates basic shipping equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines.
  • Maintains accurate records of shipped and received goods in the inventory management system.
  • Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
  • Follows all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Nails and staples guns to the operational equipment bullet.

Responds to emails when necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Forklift, Manlift, and Tractor certification may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
