Job Description:
Job Summary: Responsible for performing basic shipping and receiving tasks in a manufacturing facility.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Prepares and packages products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operates basic shipping equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines.
- Maintains accurate records of shipped and received goods in the inventory management system.
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
- Follows all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Nails and staples guns to the operational equipment bullet.
Responds to emails when necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Forklift, Manlift, and Tractor certification may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:
