The SAP Life Sciences Delivery & Solutioning Architect (GTM) is a senior transformation leader responsible for driving end-to-end SAP solution strategy, business development support, solution architecture, and delivery execution for complex SAP programs within the Life Sciences industry. This role combines deep SAP technical and functional expertise with strong industry knowledge to design, position, govern, and deliver compliant, scalable, and high-impact SAP solutions that enable business transformation.

In addition to solution delivery responsibilities, this leader plays a critical Go-to-Market (GTM) role, partnering with account teams, industry leaders, and clients to shape opportunities, develop strategic SAP transformation roadmaps, support pursuits, contribute to proposals, and articulate Capgemini's value proposition across the Life Sciences sector.   Operating as both a Solution Architect, Delivery Leader, and Trusted Advisor, this role ensures SAP programs successfully transition from strategy and solutioning through implementation and value realization while meeting regulatory, operational, and business objectives specific to Life Sciences organizations.

The SAP Life Sciences Delivery & Solutioning Architect is responsible for assessing business and technical feasibility, defining transformation strategies, identifying implementation risks, and designing enterprise-grade SAP architectures. They establish solution principles, governance models, integration strategies, and delivery approaches that align with client business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

As a senior leader, this individual owns and drives the overall solution vision, delivery strategy, and client partnership. They understand the challenges, complexities, and opportunities within Life Sciences organizations and guide clients through digital transformation initiatives spanning SAP S/4HANA, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, regulatory compliance, R&D, serialization, and commercial operations. They are expected to identify technology evolution opportunities, define governance frameworks, and lead large-scale transformation programs from pursuit through execution.

The ideal candidate is recognized internally and externally as a thought leader in SAP and Life Sciences SME, contributes to industry innovation, supports business growth initiatives, and operates effectively with executive stakeholders across national and global organizations. They are viewed as a trusted advisor, role model, and strategic leader capable of influencing business decisions, advancing Capgemini's market presence, and delivering measurable client outcomes.

Your Role
  • Serve as a recognized SAP Life Sciences leader with expertise across SAP domains such as S/4HANA, Supply Chain, BTP, etc.,  supporting a broad scope of Life Sciences clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, partners, and account teams, aligning SAP transformation strategies with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Drive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, business development, and account growth initiatives by shaping opportunities, developing transformation roadmaps, and positioning innovative SAP solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead strategic pursuits and large-scale proposal efforts, including solution development, executive presentations, commercial positioning, and oral submissions for complex SAP transformation programs.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships, influencing stakeholders across business and technology organizations while navigating complex environments to align on outcomes, scope, and transformation strategy.
  • Lead enterprise solution architecture, blueprinting, and delivery strategy from pursuit through execution, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with client business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Drive successful delivery of complex SAP programs by establishing governance frameworks, managing risk, ensuring quality execution, and integrating change management and business adoption strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with SAP and key ecosystem partners while contributing to offering development, sales enablement, reusable assets, and GTM collateral that accelerate growth and improve win rates.
  • Capture best practices and delivery learnings into accelerators, methodologies, and intellectual property that strengthen Capgemini's SAP Life Sciences capabilities.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the SAP and Life Sciences community, representing Capgemini at industry events, client forums, and executive engagements while contributing to practice growth, innovation, and talent development.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of SAP consulting, solution architecture, and large-scale transformation experience, including significant Life Sciences, MedTech, or BioPharma expertise.
  • 5+ full lifecycle SAP implementations with deep experience in S/4HANA, BTP, Fiori, Data, Analytics, Integration, and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven success leading complex SAP transformation programs, including Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping and leading large-scale pursuits, proposals, and executive presentations for opportunities exceeding $50M TCV.
  • Strong Go-to-Market (GTM), business development, and account growth experience, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, offering development, and strategic pursuit leadership.
  • Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders and translate complex business and technology concepts into compelling client-focused solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across sales, solutioning, delivery, alliances, and industry practices within a consulting or systems integration environment.
  • SAP certifications required; architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) and additional industry credentials preferred.
  • Prior experience with a global consulting firm, Big 4, or large systems integrator strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver integrated, OneCapgemini solutions across multiple service lines, while contributing to thought leadership, innovation, and practice growth.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $103,879  - $242,400

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
