Supply Chain Intern - Carmel, IN

The Supply Chain Demand Planning Intern will support the SIOP Analytics Lead team in demand planning, reporting, and project execution for commercial distribution programs and an upcoming demand planning solution implementation. Partnering with the SIOP Analytics Lead and cross-functional teams across Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and IT, this intern will help build automated exception reporting, develop Canada Commercial SIOP reporting, and support testing and validation for a new demand planning solution targeted for 2027. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end SIOP processes, supply chain technology implementation, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do:

  • Build automated exception reporting for commercial distribution programs, using rule-based logic to accelerate SIOP review and decision-making.

  • Develop Canada Commercial SIOP reporting tools and dashboards that mirror U.S. capabilities.

  • Clean, transform, and map data to support new reports, dashboards, and automation efforts, validating outputs with subject-matter experts.

  • Partner with Commercial, Distribution, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and support testing, validation, and configuration for a new demand planning solution (contingent on funding and project timeline).

  • Develop and validate demand planning reports sourced from the new solution, benchmarking outputs against legacy data and SIOP requirements.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (junior standing) or a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field - Required

  • Proficiency in Excel; Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau, and Familiarity with Python or R
