Job description

The Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Karl and Patricia Betz Congenital Heart Center-Lansing Pediatric Multispecialty Center is seeking BC/BE Pediatric Cardiologist for outpatient-focused role with some inpatient coverage at local community hospitals. Position based in Lansing with outreach clinics twice per month (within 1-hour drive of Lansing).

Primary responsibility:

  • Outpatient pediatric cardiology in Lansing and outreach clinics.
  • Some inpatient consultative coverage in local community hospitals.
  • Required participation in the call rotation schedule.

Preferred:

  • Passion for reading cardiac echocardiograms; echo's performed by experienced pediatric sonographers.

  • Fetal cardiology and ACHD experiences preferred but not required.

  • Research not required.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO, BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology.

  • Michigan medical license.

  • BLS, PALS, ACLS (if stress tests performed).
