Job description

Launchpad Labor & HCM is seeking a Product Designer to help shape user-centered digital experiences and strengthen product usability.

Position Summary

As a Product Designer, you will partner with product, engineering, and stakeholders to design intuitive, high-quality experiences across the product lifecycle. You will translate user needs and business goals into clear interaction concepts, flows, and visual design while maintaining strong design standards and usability best practices.

This role is ideal for a collaborative designer who enjoys iterating with teams, evaluating outcomes, and continuously improving product experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and improve customer experience.

  • Create design concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and implemented as intended.

  • Iterate designs based on feedback, usability testing, and performance/usage signals.

  • Maintain design documentation and uphold brand and accessibility standards across the product.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing digital products from concept through delivery.

  • Strong skills in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design principles.

  • Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional partners.

  • Experience collaborating with engineers to ensure design fidelity and usability outcomes.

  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and impact.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with designing for complex workflows and enterprise or business-focused applications.

  • Experience with usability testing and incorporating results into iterative design improvements.

  • Knowledge of accessibility principles and designing inclusive user experiences.

  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment and collaborating effectively across time zones and teams.

Compensation

Annual salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
