Job description

Overview: 

The Warehouse Operations Associate drives execution across Scheels supply chain, with a focus on vendor compliance, inventory accuracy, and inbound flow. This role owns the day-to-day work of claims, returns to vendors (RTVs), and inbound coordination, while also helping manage store and buyer communication and supporting our warehouse management systems. The position works closely with Logistics, Vendor Compliance, Accounts Payable, the Line Leader Office (Buying), and our warehouse partners to keep issues moving and processes followed. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys pushing things across the finish line with a high level of execution and timeliness.

Responsibilities: 

  • Filing and resolving claims with the Vendor Compliance team — damages, shortages, returns
  • Coordinating with Vendor Compliance, Logistics, and warehouse partners to reconcile returned inventory and close out credits
  • Partnering with Accounts Payable to close out invoice and claim issues
  • Working directly with vendors and buyers to support and uphold EDI and labeling standards
  • Oversee inbounding POs and warehouse scheduling to keep communication flowing between vendors, warehouses, and stores
  • Working in our warehouse management systems to support inventory accuracy
  • Managing store and buyer email traffic with a quick turnaround
  • Documenting and rolling out SOPs
  • Identifying what isn't working and helping build better processes

  • Comfortable in Microsoft office or equivalent program

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
