Job description

Job Summary:
RealPage, Inc. is a leading global provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry. They are seeking a Solutions Architect I to lead technical discovery sessions, translate business outcomes into resilient architectures, and guide teams from concept to production.
Responsibilities:
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand business needs, constraints, and integration points.
• Translate requirements into clear architectural designs, diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are built according to architectural intent.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies , frameworks, and patterns that improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership during development , including code level guidance when needed.
• Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural standards , best practices, and governance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Clear communicator: ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
• Software engineering depth in TypeScript/Node/React, plus CI/CD and automated testing patterns.
• Cloud Architecture: deep familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred:
• RealPage ecosystem familiarity (e.g., UDMS/UDM, Resident Identity/CIDP, OneSite, ActiveBuilding) or prior experience integrating with large SaaS platforms.
• Event streaming (e.g., Kafka) and advanced messaging patterns (DLQs, compaction, exactly once semantics).
• Cloud architecture depth (AWS/Azure/GCP) including VPC design, private networking, managed messaging/databases, and IaC.
• Compliance/regulatory experience (SOC 2, PCI, GDPR/CCPA) and security hardening at the platform and service levels.
• While not required, please feel free to include links to social media, blog or portfolio work online if you would like to include it as part of your background.
