OurGovernmentAffairs team(External Affairs)is seeking a Political ProgramsManagerprimarilyresponsible for administering,maintaining, and growing Prudential's political action committees.
The role will report to the Head of U.S. Government Affairs and will be based in Washington, DC.or Newark, N.J.The ideal candidatewillhave PAC-related experience.The work arrangement for this position is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week ineither the DC or Newarkoffice.
Lead, build, and execute - in partnership with External Affairs leadership - the internal fundraising strategy to grow Prudential's PACs, including annual strategic planning, PAC and political content development, eventplanningand execution.
Coordinate with internal and external partners (political law, compliance, communications, finance,vendors) to ensure the PACs are administered and managedin accordance withelection law and regulations.
Directly engage with PAC members and prospects, in individualized and group settings, educating and encouraging voluntary PAC membership through effective and non-partisan communication of its importance to the company's public policy agenda.
Minimum 3years'of direct experience as a PAC professional at a corporation, trade association, non-profit organization, or federal campaign.Ancillary political engagement experiencealsoapplicable.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, oral and written, anddemonstratedability and experience to consistently collaborate positively and effectively with internal and external partners. Experience with public speaking is a plus.
Ability to engage colleagues in discussion about our political system and relevant developments to the company's public policy agenda - including with senior executives, existing PAC members, and potential PAC members - in a positive and politically neutral manner in recognition of the range and diversity of political viewpoints among Prudential employees.

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
