    Job description

    Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead quality initiatives within our industrial laundry operations. This role serves as the site-level quality leader, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the highest standards of product and process quality.

    This is a hands-on leadership role that partners closely with plant operations and corporate quality to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance across all quality systems.

    Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership & Ownership
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters at the plant level
    • Lead and develop site quality efforts in alignment with corporate Quality Assurance standards
    • Act as the on-site extension of the corporate QA function, ensuring consistency across locations
    • Provide guidance and training to supervisors and plant staff on quality expectations and standards
    ISO Compliance & Audit Readiness
    • Maintain and support ISO 9001 certification compliance
    • Lead internal audits, inspections, and documentation processes
    • Ensure accurate and complete recordkeeping for all quality-related activities
    • Identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and track resolution to completion
    • Prepare reports summarizing audit findings, trends, and improvement actions
    Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
    • Analyze production processes to identify quality risks and inefficiencies
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
    • Partner with operations to improve workflow consistency, efficiency, and output quality
    Quality Control & Issue Resolution
    • Oversee all quality control activities, including:
      • Incoming materials inspection
      • In-process checks
      • Final product verification
    • Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints
    • Implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with the General Manager and plant leadership team to improve operational performance
    • Act as the voice of quality in daily production meetings and decision-making
    • Collaborate with procurement, vendors, and corporate teams on quality-related matters
    • Conduct supplier evaluations and audits as needed
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in a manufacturing or processing environment
    • Experience supporting or participating in ISO audits and certification processes (ISO 9001 strongly preferred)
    • Knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
    • Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
