Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to serve as a Lead Respiratory Therapist, providing clinical leadership and operational support for pulmonary care programs across skilled nursing facilities. This role focuses on improving respiratory outcomes, mentoring clinical teams, and supporting quality initiatives within the post-acute care environment.

Shift Options: 4/10s or 3x12-hour shifts
Every Other Weekend Requirement
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical leadership and support for pulmonary programs across multiple facilities
Conduct respiratory therapy audits, including documentation and compliance reviews
Develop and improve pulmonary care programs and quality initiatives
Monitor clinical outcomes, hospitalizations, ADLs, and program performance metrics
Train and mentor Pulmonary Program Coordinators (PPCs)
Conduct onboarding and education for new team members
Lead weekly PPC meetings to review goals, performance, and compliance
Maintain accurate pulmonary dashboards, PDPM documentation, and program data
Support CMS compliance and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with facility leadership and operational teams
Qualifications:
Required:
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist License
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to support multiple skilled nursing facilities
Preferred:
3-5+ years of respiratory therapy experience
Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience
Experience with pulmonary programs, clinical audits, staff education, or quality improvement
Knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory modalities, PDPM, and CMS standards
