Manager, Transformation Analysis
Remote - Successful candidate must live in a state in which Point Broadband operates (AL, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, MI, NY, OH, TN, TX, or VA) #LI-remote
Summary:
The Manager, Transformation Analysis evaluates business and technology transformation opportunities, builds the business case for each initiative, and tracks outcomes after deployment. The role spans AI adoption, process automation, and tooling improvements, applying the same value-vs.-feasibility lens across the board. The position requires a keen eye for process improvement, financial modeling fluency, strong facilitation skills, and the credibility to work directly with business owners and the Executive Leadership Team. The role reports to the Transformation Lead and resides within the Strategy organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities are listed below but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate cross-functional discovery workshops to surface transformation opportunities across AI, automation, and tooling, and score them using the value-vs.-feasibility framework.
  • Build the ROI model and business case for each prioritized initiative, defining baseline KPIs, target outcomes, and the measurement window with the relevant business owner.
  • Manage the initiative intake and scoring queue in partnership with the Program Manager, ensuring all submissions are evaluated before reaching the Transformation Lead for prioritization.
  • Gate initiative activation by confirming technical readiness sign-off from the relevant team (Data & Analytics for AI, IT for automation or tooling) before any initiative moves to build.
  • Map current-state workflows and define the future state for each initiative before IT scopes the build, ensuring process documentation is complete prior to activation.
  • Partner with business owners to define initiative scope, validate assumptions, and confirm adoption accountability before activation.
  • Track post-deployment results against baseline, reporting regularly on progress to the Transformation Lead and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Partner with People Operations on change enablement for transformation initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and adoption measurement.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a transformation or strategy function.
  • Demonstrated ability to build ROI models and measure outcomes across AI, automation, and tooling initiatives. Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Familiarity with transformation solution types including AI/ML applications, RPA, workflow automation, and enterprise tooling. Must be able to evaluate feasibility and engage productively with technical teams without being a practitioner.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the credibility to surface opportunities, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions at the executive level.
  • Experience in telecom, broadband, utilities, or a similarly operationally complex industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT), process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet). Comfort interpreting BI tool output (e.g., Power BI).

  • Required to use hands to type, handle objects and paperwork.
  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
