Job Overview

This company provides power and temperature control solutions to businesses and communities worldwide. We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our Data Center Sector - East Coast to ensure customers receive the power, heating, and cooling they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business development and lead generation within the Data Center sector
  • Cold calling, account management, presentation development, and closing deals
  • Tracking all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
  • Selling equipment rental and services to Data Center customers
  • Developing and executing an annual territory sales plan
  • Collaborating with operations and logistics teams for project execution
  • Understanding power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of direct B2B sales experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the targeted territory
  • Advanced knowledge of the Data Center industry
  • Proficiency with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Experience partnering with Ops, Fleet, and Logistics teams

Bachelors degree or relevant experience
Must-Haves

  • Full sales cycle experience
  • Previous experience as a B2B Sales Professional
  • Knowledge of construction and data center builds
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience developing new accounts, solution sales in a structured corporate setting
