Part-Time Advertising Sales Representative
Wise News Network (WNN) is seeking a motivated and outgoing Part-Time Advertising Sales Representative to sell advertising across WNN's digital news, social media, video, and other media platforms.
This is an independent, results-driven sales position for someone who enjoys working with local business owners, building professional relationships, and helping businesses reach customers through local media advertising.
The position will begin part-time and may develop into a full-time opportunity as advertising sales and WNN's platforms continue to grow.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and contact prospective advertisers.
  • Meet with local business owners and decision-makers.
  • Present WNN advertising packages and promotional opportunities.
  • Recommend advertising options based on each client's needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing advertisers.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and manage the sales process.
  • Coordinate advertising schedules, materials, and campaign details with WNN.
  • Represent Wise News Network professionally within the community.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position with no hourly wage, salary, or guaranteed compensation.
The Advertising Sales Representative will earn a commission on qualifying advertising sales generated by the representative.
Commission payments will be based on advertising revenue actually received by WNN and will be subject to the terms of the company's advertising sales commission agreement.
The position offers flexible earning potential based on sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable contacting and meeting with business owners.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and manage prospective clients.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Knowledge of local businesses and the surrounding community is preferred.
  • Previous sales, advertising, marketing, or media experience is helpful but not required.
  • Reliable transportation and access to a phone and computer are preferred.
Schedule
This is a flexible, part-time position. Some daytime availability may be necessary to contact and meet with local business owners.
The position may transition into a full-time role based on performance, advertising revenue, and the continued growth of Wise News Network.
