What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary HR contact for caregivers, providing support with employment-related questions and company policies.
• Coordinate caregiver onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee files and ensure compliance with state regulations and company requirements.
• Monitor caregiver credentials and follow up on expiring licenses, certifications, and required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with caregivers while promoting a positive employee experience.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns and partnering with leadership when needed.
• Participate in recruiting initiatives, including community events and job fairs, as needed.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties to support branch operations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred).
• Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience within a home care agency is required.
• Experience onboarding caregivers and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle.
• Experience maintaining employee personnel files and HR documentation.
• Experience processing I-9s, employment verification, background checks, and compliance documentation.
• Experience supporting employee relations and responding to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with HHA Exchange (HHAeXchange), EVV, ADP, or other HRIS systems.
• Experience supporting a high-volume caregiver workforce.
• Knowledge of New Jersey home care regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with the Hudson County home care community and caregiver workforce.
• Experience representing an employer at community events or job fairs.
