Job description

Our client is a leading provider of digital display, signage, and installation solutions, serving customers across North America. They specialize in delivering end-to-end services, including design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. With a strong reputation for innovation and quality, they continue to grow and invest in both their people and technology. Our client is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer with 5+ years of experience to join their team in Oakville. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, working across both front-end and back-end technologies while supporting cloud-based deployments and modern CI/CD practices. What We Offer - Competitive compensation package ($80,000 - $90,000) - Hybrid work environment - 3 weeks' vacation to start - Comprehensive benefits from day one - RRSP matching up to $2,500 annually (eligible after 3 months) Responsibilities: - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications from concept to production. - Build responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services using modern technologies. - Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and gRPC services. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability. - Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Collaborate with product, design, hardware, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and support continuous system improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience. - Strong experience with React and/or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and modern web development practices. - Hands-on experience with Django (Python), Node.js, or Go, including REST API development and integration. - Proficiency with PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines; Kubernetes is an asset. - Experience working in Linux and Windows environments with strong knowledge of OOP, software design principles, and development best practices.
