Job description

Financial Support Services Specialist

Duties: To serve as a financial liaison to internal and external business partners (e.g. clients, carriers, IT, client services, etc.); to provide support by assisting stakeholders and management with research, analysis, resolution, questions and concerns. PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as a financial liaison to internal and external business partners (e.g. clients, carriers, IT, client services, etc.); to provide support by assisting stakeholders and management with research, analysis, resolution, questions and concerns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and analyzes accounts and financial data to ensure accounts and variances are accurately stated; and conducts timely reconciliations.
  • Performs root cause analysis and research to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintains effective and productive relationships with both internal and external business partners.
  • Handles incoming requests and communicates status/resolution to requestor and relevant stakeholders.
  • Serves as a financial liaison responsible for receivable and relationship management; partners with internal and external business partners.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s)

Skills: Open to remote or hybrid - on-site at Memphis, TN or Dublin, OH (preferred)

CST HOURS QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Licensing:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience:

Four (4) years of experience in the accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Skills & Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

Leadership/management/motivational skills

Analytical and interpretive skills

Strong organization skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
