Position Overview:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day inventory operations within the company. This includes ensuring accurate inventory levels, maintaining optimal stock, managing stock turnover, and ensuring that products are stored and tracked efficiently. The role requires the implementation of inventory control systems, managing a team, and collaborating with other departments to meet operational needs.
What You'll Do:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory reports, trends, and data to forecast demand levels.
  • Monitor and manage the aging of inventory.
  • Report regularly to senior management on inventory status, including inventory turnover, cost control, and areas of improvement.
  • Implement cycle counting procedures and provide reports on inventory accuracy.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to assess inventory performance and identify areas for improvement.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices, techniques, and software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
