Your Job
DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a Subcontracts Account Manager . This role sits within DEPCOM's subcontracting and strategic partner management capability and supports preferred subcontractor relationships across civil, electrical, and other scopes by region. The primary function of this role is to develop, manage, and strengthen strategic subcontractor partnerships that improve cost competitiveness, execution certainty, and long-term value creation for DEPCOM.
This role does not provide VISA sponsorship.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain strategic account plans, relationship maps, decision-maker coverage, and partner strategies for preferred subcontractors by scope and region.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Estimating, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Project Execution, Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, and Finance to align resources that support strategic subcontractor relationships.
  • Identify subcontractors of focus as candidates for preferred partnerships based on regional needs, scope requirements, execution capabilities, and DEPCOM priorities.
  • Position DEPCOM as a customer of choice through proactive communication, executive engagement, pipeline visibility, and long-term planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships at executive, commercial, operational, and technical decision-maker levels with preferred subcontractor partners.
  • Develop market intelligence regarding labor rates, productivity benchmarks, equipment costs, commercial terms, historical pricing, and subcontractor performance.
  • Drive improved subcontract cost competitiveness through benchmarking, negotiations, long-term agreements, and strategic partner engagement.
  • Facilitate technical collaboration between strategic partners and DEPCOM stakeholders throughout pursuit, execution, and closeout phases.
  • Measure partner performance across safety, quality, cost, productivity, schedule, responsiveness, transparency, and execution reliability.
  • Develop scalable systems, processes, tools, and governance frameworks that support Strategic Partner Management as a long-term DEPCOM capability.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in subcontractor management, supplier relationship management, procurement, project execution, construction operations, commercial management, or account management
  • Experience developing and managing cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Experience using data, benchmarks, or market intelligence to support commercial decisions, negotiations, or performance improvement
  • Experience identifying risks, constraints, performance issues, or commercial opportunities and coordinating resources to support resolution
  • Experience communicating with senior stakeholders, business partners, subcontractors, suppliers, or customers in a professional business environment

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience working in utility-scale solar, EPC construction, renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, or industrial construction environments
  • Experience managing subcontractor or supplier relationships across civil, electrical, mechanical, or related construction scopes
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms, long-term agreements, pricing structures, or strategic supplier/subcontractor agreements
  • Experience building supplier scorecards, business review processes, performance dashboards, or partner governance frameworks
  • Experience supporting constructability reviews, execution planning, estimating assumptions, change strategy, or project risk mitigation
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships that improve cost competitiveness, execution certainty, margin performance, or customer-of-choice positioning
