Job description

Work Schedule Comments: Primarily M-F, 8am – 5pm, overtime as necessary


Position Overview: Responsible for Mobile Comm equipment needs including inventory management, processing work orders and purchase orders for installations and removals. Additionally, processes associated invoices and payments from accounting. Responsible for HOS reporting process to field via excel spreadsheet as well as other reporting functions to field operations.


Important Job Functions:

• Hours of Service (HOS) platform user and site setup

• Hours of Service trouble shooting for the field & contacting current HOS vendor support as needed

• Adding, Syncing, and working with Alerts

• Hours of Service Reports - reviewing drivers not logged within the last 14 days

• Updating HOS system drivers with updated information; assistance with changing driver ID’s & Driver passwords

• Assist OP-COs on recovering associated HOS equipment when Owner/Operator leaves

• Alerting Field Safety Representatives when Personal Conveyance or Adverse conditions have been utilized (When Mobile Comm Unit Supervisor is out; Critical event reporting i.e. harsh braking, speeding, etc.)

• Communicate with each OP-CO of unassigned UVA on a weekly basis

• Communicate with each OP-CO on mileage discrepancies

• Assist Safety Director special projects as needed

• Assist Mobile Comm. Manager with special projects

• Responsible for Lift Operator Certification Records

• Verification of previous employment responses


Other Job Functions:

• Provide customer support to our business partners and operating companies

• Back-up for other compliance functions (HOS assistance, compliance, etc.)

• Other duties as assigned


Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office products

• Good written and oral communication skills
