Your role and responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Perform market research, customer research, and competitive analysis to identify new market opportunities.
- Understand our customers and key industries.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams.
- Identify and evaluate user requirements to uncover actionable product insights.
- Help translate complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements and user stories.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in AI tools
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Familiarity with enterprise storage technologies (block, file, object)
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), or data-intensive applications as they relate to storage
- Understanding of cloud computing models (public, private, hybrid) and their impact on storage solutions
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, or product lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of hardware and software development concepts
- Junior, Senior, or Master's degree student preferred
- Previous technical internship, co-op, academic research, open-source contribution, or hands-on technical project experience

Supplemental 1 employees may be eligible for up to 8 paid holidays, minimum of 56 hours paid sick time and the IBM Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
