The Consumer Insights Manager will be an embedded partner to Hasbro’s business portfolios within the Toys & Games organization. You will be responsible for completing global quantitative and qualitative research projects and analyzing data. You will translate your findings into actionable insights and recommendations that help build world-class brands, products, and marketing programs.

The person in this position is driven by a deep passion for Hasbro's brands and curiosity about consumer needs and motivations. They fearlessly share consumer truths, trends, and insights with partner teams.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday-Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA.

A Day in the Life as a Consumer Insights Manager:
  • Develop a strong understanding of your portfolio's consumer, category, brands, and play patterns to support your growth as a voice of the consumer.
  • Contribute to the team's ongoing monitoring of cultural and category trends, competitive landscape shifts, and emerging consumer behaviors — synthesizing and sharing relevant findings with cross-functional partners to inform innovation and go-to-market decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across all phases of execution — briefing, project design, quantitative and qualitative input development, data collection, analysis, and reporting — with a focus on concept testing, pack testing, and brand tracking studies.
  • Access and synthesize data from multiple sources — primary research, secondary/syndicated data, and analytic outputs — to inform business decisions.
  • Actively use AI tools and platforms to improve day-to-day research work — including synthesis, analysis, and storytelling — and bring a curiosity and openness to experimenting with new AI-enabled ways of working.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 6+ years in Consumer Insights or Market Research
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably in social sciences, marketing/market research, or a related discipline
  • MBA, other advanced degree, or additional education in consumer insights/analytics a plus
  • Solid understanding of fundamental Qualitative and Quantitative research techniques and basic statistics
  • To be successful in this role, you must be passionate and have practical experience with toys, games, collectibles, or entertainment categories
  • Best-in-class ability to tell compelling stories with data and insights
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with all professional levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities among multiple teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, navigating Power BI dashboards, and survey programming tools
  • Proficiency in employing AI tools and platforms to enhance research, analysis, insight generation, and communication.
  • A consistent track record of innovation, flexibility, and critical thinking

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.

Pay Range: $105,700 USD - $158,500 USD
