The Manager, Global Brand Development & Marketing - Transformers helps develop marketing strategies, brand-building efforts, and best-in-class consumer executions for Transformers, one of Hasbro's most iconic global brands. This role will help bring the Transformers brand and priority products to life for fans and consumers around the world, translating global brand strategy into compelling, culturally relevant marketing programs and experiences.

The Manager, Global Brand Development & Marketing - Transformers will partner with internal cross-functional teams and business teams, including commercial, retail, data and analytics, product, PR, media, social, creative, design and development, as well as external agencies, partners and retailers - all in an effort to present Transformers and its products to consumers in unforgettable ways. We are looking for someone who brings passion, energy, and a healthy willingness to be bold and take risks in ways that help Transformers stand out and connect with both existing fans and new generations of consumers.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA.

A day in the life of aManager Global Brand Development & Marketing:  

  • Responsible for translation of Transformers brand strategy into integrated go-to-market plans for priority products and initiatives, inclusive of objectives, positioning, target audiences, and channel mix.
  • Execute Transformers campaigns and brand activations across retail, media, digital and social, creator, PR, events and more in close partnership with Senior Managers, cross-functional teams, and agencies.
  • Lead day-to-day program execution with internal and external partners, keeping work aligned, on brief, and moving forward.
  • Write clear, effective briefs and support creative development and asset production from concept through delivery and localization, leveraging AI where appropriate.
  • Deliver region-ready assets, toolkits, and calendars that enable adoption and adaptation at speed while maintaining Transformers brand cohesion and consistency globally.
  • Track and measure against KPIs, synthesize learnings, and support optimization recommendations to improve impact.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for assigned Transformers initiatives, ensuring executional excellence and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams and key accounts to ensure local insights, retail moments, and channel realities are reflected in plans and executions.
  • Work closely with Brand Creative to ensure visual and tonal consistency across platforms, activations, and content while honoring the distinctive identity and legacy of Transformers.
  • Stay curious and proactively identify new formats, platforms, partnerships, and cultural moments that can help Transformers connect authentically with fans, families, collectors, and new audiences.
  • Prepare clear updates, recaps, and presentations that communicate plans, progress, and results to stakeholders.

What you'll bring: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years in integrated consumer marketing/brand management with proven campaign/brand activation experience. Toy, Game, Entertainment, Franchise or Licensing experience a plus - though not a requirement.
  • Passion for franchise and fandom-driven brands, with an appreciation for the opportunity to grow Transformers across generations, audiences, and consumer touchpoints.
  • Data-driven mindset: We pair art with science - and are driven by data and consumer insights. This role needs to review insights, pull out key learnings, and action against them.
  • Team player: We are stronger together and thrive when we share and build on good ideas.
  • Storyteller: Ability to organize and share sophisticated information in a compelling way using story to persuade an audience.
  • Channel knowledge: Have knowledge of key marketing channels, including digital marketing and media, ecomm, social, YouTube, PR, and retail.
  • Organization and detail orientation: The details matter when it comes to executing with excellence, especially as every team member will be expected to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Relationship builder: Strong leadership and networking abilities. This role works with many cross-functional teams and strong daily communication with our partners is a key to success.
