Job description

Overview
This hybrid position will be located at our Foot Locker Office in New York, NY.
Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Sr. Manager of Pricing is responsible for leading best-in-class retail and lifecycle pricing and promotional strategies. The Sr. Manager will develop and drive key strategic initiatives within the merchandising organization related to pricing, including but not limited to the refinement of our corporate pricing policies, the expansion and enhancement of our price optimization efforts, and the management of our clearance programs. The Sr. Manager will partner with leaders and associates across multiple functions to identify opportunities, make recommendations, and drive adoption based on internal and external factors to achieve an organization's long-term pricing goals. The Sr. Manager will lead teammates responsible in executing promotional and permanent price changes. In addition, the Sr. Manager of Pricing will lead their team in identifying and implementing process and technology enhancements that enable the effective delivery against the strategic plan
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working closely with senior leaders on multiple, day-to-day aspects of the business. In addition, the ideal candidate can use analytics to drive decisions, solve problems and optimize both athlete-facing and back-end business processes
Strategic Pricing
• Develop and lead the company's pricing strategy for clearance and end-of-life merchandise programs
• Identify and manage Pricing Strategy KPIs
• Monitor inventory ownership and sales performance, as well as execute promotional activities that support the program and company's financial goals
• Drive adoption and growth of programs such as Regular Price Optimization via partnership with merchandising leadership team.
• Leverage advanced analytics such as competitive scraping, market share data and item/class elasticity to recommend price changes
• Execute best in class testing to validate hypotheses and analyze the impact of recommendations
Execution and Process Improvement (Analysis, Design and Execution)
• Assess process and technology opportunities that can better enable use of pricing strategy as an effective differentiator at the company. Develop recommendations and plans to improve systems and/or process, as relevant
Supervising and Developing Talent
• Lead teammates responsible for executing price changes and own the accuracy KPIs for pricing execution
• Manage execution responsibilities and workload of direct reports to achieve department deliverables on-time and with quality
• Provide direct reports with timely and regular feedback to support associate development/ growth in role
• Establish strategic staffing and succession plans (0-2 year horizon) within span of control and gain Director support; successfully deliver on proposed staffing objectives
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields; MBA preferred
• 7-10 years experience in corporate retail; tenure in merchandising, planning or merchandising services preferred
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar front end BI applications
• Database programming language (SQL/Python) preferred
• Able to interpret complex data sets and draw inferences

Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
