    This role will work in a hybrid (in-office and remote) capacity. In-office days are Tuesday-Thursday.
    Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Manager, Utilities Financeto join our team! This role is responsible for managing a $36M annual utility expense plan across our store and non-store portfolio in North America. You will manage several third-party resources to ensure process controls around bill payment and deregulated procurement. The Sr. Manager will partner with facilities and ESG team to meet Annual Impact reporting requirements while identifying opportunities to lower consumption.
    This role can be based out of either our Camp Hill, PA or New York, NY Corporate offices.
    At this time, Foot Locker will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).
    Responsibilities
    Financial
    • Create annual budgets for direct and landlord utilities at store level.
    • Maintain strong working relationship with 3rd party vendor & Accounts Payable.
    • Track escrow adjustments and year end invoices from landlord.
    • Manage fiscal month end responsibilities, including accrual aging.
    • Identify, investigate, and minimize high usage utilities through the bill exception/auditing process.
    • Manage surety bond renewal process and security deposits.
    • Research and implement cost reduction opportunities.

    Consumption
    • Establish/discontinue utility service at the start and end of lease, ensuring no disruptions in service.
    • Maintain strong relationships with utility providers and their account managers.
    • Provide monthly usage by commodity by store to ESG team for Annual Impact Reporting.
    • Partner with Facilities on impact of energy reducing capital projects (LED, HVAC, EMS)

    Procurement
    • Regular review of market pricing with 3rd party resources.
    • Risk assess deregulated contracts to optimize our contract term/structure strategy.
    • Partner with Legal to ensure timing execution of documents.
    • Collect green certificates related to deregulated contracts.

    Other responsibilities
    • Visually present data in an easy to digest format for audience.
    • Prepare and present accurate, well-supported financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
    • Deliver completed assignments within the specified time frame.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 5+ years of related work experience
    • Microsoft Excel/Office/PPT proficiency
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • People leadership experience preferred

    Benefits
    The annual base salary range is $110000-$115000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
