Job description

The Account Manager owns and grows a portfolio of customer accounts, with full accountability for year-over-year sales and gross profit performance. This role drives revenue through proactive selling, pricing execution, and account expansion while serving as the primary point of contact for all commercial activity.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, with full accountability for sales and gross profit performance
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and account penetration
  • Analyze customer purchasing behavior to uncover growth opportunities and expand product adoption
  • Execute pricing strategies, quotes, and programs that align with margin targets and customer value
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary commercial contact
  • Drive consistent outbound engagement (calls, campaigns, and follow-ups) to generate demand and increase share of wallet
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution, product availability, and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer issues with urgency while protecting the commercial interests of the business
  • Maintain accurate account activity, pricing, and pipeline visibility
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle industry experience preferred

Certifications/Licenses:
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Proximity to a major airport.
  • Willing and able to travel by plane or car

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or revenue-driving roles
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to manage pricing, margins, and customer profitability
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and drive results across multiple accounts
