Job Description

Improving is hiring talented, experienced Mobile Developers (iOS, Android and / or React Native) to join a new team in what feels like a tech startup! The teams are currently being newly formed, the development is greenfield and you will have an opportunity to work on multiple projects! This is a super fast paced environment, so if you are looking for a calm, serene environment, this is probably not for you. 

As a Senior Mobile App Developer you have a passion for code and putting the customer first; delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extendable and re-usable products.

Applicants must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in cross-platform React application development. This includes actively participating in designing, developing, reviewing, testing and release of iOS, Android and web apps to drive digital products. As a Senior Developer / Engineer, you will be part of a team who will create digital products that hundreds of thousands of people experience every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute full product lifecycle (inception through deprecation) to create reliable and flexible apps using React and React Native.
  • Collaborate with other Engineers, and like-minded peers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Architects.

Qualifications

            Expert in React JS and Native app development

            Proficient in creating webpack configurations

            Hands-on experience with state management using Redux

            Comfortable with integrating RESTful APIs

            Experience working in product development

            Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment

            A team player with a start-up/intrapenuer mindset

            Ravenous about learning technology and problem solving

            Strong writing and communication skills

            Experience with Native iOS and Android app development a plus
