Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to optimize supply chain operations through data analysis, demand forecasting, inventory management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will analyze supply chain performance, identify operational inefficiencies, and collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and business teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely product delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, procurement activities, and order fulfillment performance.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.

  • Support demand planning, inventory optimization, and production planning activities.

  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, and sales teams to improve supply chain performance.

  • Evaluate supplier performance, transportation costs, and delivery metrics.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Perform root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support ERP and supply chain management system implementations and enhancements.

  • Prepare presentations and analytical reports for management and business stakeholders.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, inventory management, procurement, or operations.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and demand planning.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing operational data.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

  • Familiarity with forecasting techniques and statistical analysis.

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).

  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, or logistics industries.

  • Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
