Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY
The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting front-end and back-end applications, services, and integrations that enable internal productivity tools, AI-supported workflows, and enterprise operational capabilities at HonorHealth. This role performs full stack development across user interfaces, application logic, APIs, databases, and supporting services to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
This role works closely with business stakeholders, engineers, AI developers, analytics teams, and other technical partners to understand user needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and support the full lifecycle of internally used applications and platforms. The Full Stack Software Engineer helps ensure software solutions are reliable, usable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise standards and operational priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Full Stack Application Development:
    Design, document, code, test, implement, and support front-end and back-end application components using approved languages, frameworks, databases, and enterprise development standards.
    Develop user interfaces, APIs, services, and backend logic to support internal applications, AI-enabled workflows, and business process tools.
    Translate user and business requirements into scalable technical solutions with appropriate architecture and maintainability.
    Ensure software components are performant, secure, usable, and aligned to intended workflow outcomes.
  • Application Support, Maintenance, and Issue Resolution:
    Provide ongoing support for applications, system enhancements, bug fixes, upgrades, and issue resolution.
    Troubleshoot technical problems, production issues, and integration failures to restore reliable service.
    Monitor solution behavior and implement corrective improvements when systems underperform or create user friction.
    Support continuity of service and production stability.
  • Systems Integration and Technical Collaboration:
    Build and maintain integrations across enterprise applications, internal data sources, workflow tools, and supporting services.
    Collaborate with architects, analysts, AI developers, and business partners to ensure application solutions fit into the broader enterprise environment.
    Contribute to technical planning, requirement clarification, and implementation sequencing for multi-system solutions.
    Support interoperability and practical workflow use across implemented solutions.
  • Development Lifecycle and Technical Documentation:
    Participate in software development lifecycle activities including design reviews, sprint planning, code review, testing, implementation, release support, and post-release stabilization.
    Maintain technical documentation, support materials, release notes, and design references.
    Follow coding standards, repository practices, version control expectations, and documentation discipline.
  • Solution Improvement and Innovation Support:
    Review and recommend improvements to existing systems, patterns, workflows, and technologies.
    Assist with proofs of concept, early testing, and practical evaluation of new technical solutions.
    Contribute to the evolution of internal application capabilities that improve productivity, workflow clarity, and user experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or 4 years equivalent experience, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related engineering field Required
  • Associates with additional directly related experience may be considered Required
  • Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Preferred
EXPERIENCE
  • 4 years, Full stack software development experience Required
  • Experience building front-end and back-end applications, APIs, data integrations, and production-ready software Required
  • Experience with cloud services, CI/CD, source control, and modern development practices Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, internal enterprise platforms, or regulated environments Preferred
  • Experience supporting AI-related applications, workflow tools, or analytics-integrated applications Preferred
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
